Long-Tan campus was established in Aug. 8th, 1988. Because President Yang was aware of the inequity of healthcare resource between urban and rural areas, he recruited a team of determined healthcare professionals to the Long-Tan area, established a highly effective and functioned healthcare network, and provided people of Long-Tan area with convenient and accessible healthcare.

　　 During these 17 years, Long-Tan Campus has contributed a lot in providing healthcare for people in the community. In addition, it has added dozens of physician practices in Long-Tan area, providing various specialties in the community.
