　　Da-yuan, Lu-Ju, Kuan-Yin, and Shin-Wu are four towns along the coast in Tao-Yuan County with their unique geographic characteristics, customs, traffics, and social structures. Due to social transformation and rural population outflows, healthcare resources are always limited in this area. In response to the increasing and urgent healthcare needs, Min-Sheng Healthcare Network established Da-Yuan Campus in 1992, providing these four shoreline towns with accessible and comprehensive healthcare services. In addition, because Da-Yuan is located in the gateway of the country, it plays an important role in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care for many times.

　 Da-Yuan Campus is the only community hospital in this area. To deal with the unique population structure, it developed a unique strategy of “serving for seniors and walking into the community.” Its features includes：

　 　　
　　 1. Community Development Center
　　　 In order to effectively implement community outreach, this center is directly supervised under the Superintendent
　　　 Office and leaded by highly-qualified physicians. Through community meetings every season, the center sets up
　　　 precise community health promotion guidelines and action plans, making sure healthcare services provided meet the
　　　 community’s needs.
　　2. Emergency Room 　　　
　　　 This is the only healthcare facility that provides 24-hour ER service in this coast area. Min-Sheng Healthcare Network
　　　 arranges excellent specialists to support the ER services. The ER service not only solves people’s urgent health
　　　 problem efficiently and effectively, but also provides complete and smooth referring services. Da-Yuan Campus is an
　　　 important member of the Emergency Medicine Network of Tao-Yuan County, and functioned significantly in those
　　　 serious airplane crash accidents.
　　3. Family Medicine Department　　　
　　　 The Family Medicine physician team is the best among equivalent hospitals in the country. Five physicians from the
　　　 National Taiwan University Hospital have provided care in this Campus for a long time, being the “gatekeepers”
　　　 of people’s health. Geriatrics and long-term care are also core functions in this Campus.
　　4. Internal Medicine Department　　
　　　 This Internal Medicine team is formed by sub-specialists from the Chin-Kuo Campus, including Cardiology, Chest
　　　 Medicine, Gastroenterology, Neurology, and Psychiatrics. It is equipped with advanced medical devices such as
　　　 ultrasounds and endoscopes. Its Respiratory Care Center located in the 6th floor is the only one in the shoreline area,
　　　 providing high-quality services for ventilator dependent patients.
　　5. Surgery Department
　　　The Surgery team is formed by physicians of Da-Yuan Campus as well as experienced sub-specialists from Chin-Kuo
　　　 Campus, performing an enhanced and wide-range surgery services with high qualities. Because of the easy transition
　　　 of referral, patients can choose either Da-Yuan or Chin-Kuo Campus for the post-acute healthcare services.
　　6. Orthopedics Department
　　　 Da-Yuan campus is located near industrial area and the west coast highway, and hemce provides the most accessible
　　　 wound cares. The physician team is formed by skilled specialists from various leading hospitals. Surgeries include
　　　 total joint replacement, arthroscopy examinations and surgeries, and surgery for Herniated of Intervertebral Disc.
　　7. OB/GYN
　　　 Da-Yuan Campus specially recruited a highly experienced OB/GYN specialist with a degree of Harvard University
　　　 Master of Public Health as the Department Director. This highly professional and competent physician team is formed
　　　 by specialists from Chin-Kuo Campus, providing services for women in this community.
　　8. Rehabilitation Department
　　　 The Rehabilitation Department is formed by rehabilitation physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.
　　　 Currently, the main function of the department is outpatient services, and the second one is inpatient services. This
　　　 team has always performed remarkably and won people’s trust. The department is planning to expand its service
　　　 space in order to meet patients’ growing demands
　　9. Respiratory Care Center
　　　 This ward is set up for ventilator dependent patients. Patients’ daily nursing cares and treatments are provided by the
　　　 internal medicine team 24 hours a day. Medical devices are equipped according to intensive care unit standards. This
　　　 is a special unit for respiratory failure patients.
